Abbie Ozard

Refining her talents as a songwriter and vocalist at Manchester’s BIMM, Abbie Ozard was catapulted into the public consciousness after signing with Liverpool based Modern Sky Entertainment UK.

Since then, Abbie’s stock has continued to grow. Teaming up with Rich Turvey (Blossoms,Vistas) on co-production duties, her singles that followed, “Growing Pains”, “HeartbreakRadio” and “On A Low” all received coveted spins on BBC Radio 1, as well as support from key tastemakers at BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music. After signing to Manchester based LAB records in 2020, her continued successes across fan engagement, media coverage and musical development caught the attention of London based independent label House Anxiety-home to Genesis Owusu, Bad Boy Chiller Crew and Carpet Garden.

Abbie has spent the summer of 2021 writing and recording in London with Will Bloomfield, recognised for his work with Alfie Templeman. During this period, she has developed a more mature sound-evolving beyond the confines of her bedroom-pop origins, without losing any of her infectious spark. Her latest EP ‘Water-based lullabies’ carried her through 2022 with the promise of more music, tastemaker festival appearances, and headline tour dates to follow.
