With a combination of their hugely atmospheric sonic palettes and unfiltered northern perspective, “Kamakazi pop” quintet Jango Flash have been quickly creating deep connections with their new waves of fans. Led by songwriter, Jack Angus Golightly, the band emerged in 2022 with a pair of singles that instantly pricked the ears of industry insiders which earned them an abundance of praise from BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing. 

Their music offers a warm, rich nostalgia that echoes the jangly melodies of the 90s as well as the infectious chorus’ of mid 00s indie. Although they are only new to the live scene their memorable performances have brought them a slew of local fans and appreciation from fellow rising artists which has led to a sold out hometown show as well as a support slot playing to a sold out crowd alongside Jamie Webster at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall. Expect loads more to come in 2023!
