Driven by an abundance of fuzzy rock riffs and retro grooves, Guildford four-piece Barrera have become the one to watch for lovers of classic rock and roll vibes injected with a modern angsty swagger. 

Led by confident femme-rock frontwoman Issy Allen, who brings a 60s inspired visual style and vocal aesthetic to the band, Barrera are constantly combining an infectiously energetic nostalgic atmosphere with 21st century sensibilities in a style comparable to The Howlers or Black Honey’s early work. This sonic blend mixed with Issy’s striking showmanship makes for an unforgettable live performance which has seen them become a sought after fixture of the live scene in the south. 

After releasing two albums in two years over the course of lockdown, they returned in anthemic form with their single ‘Peach Trees’ in 2022. This has set them up for a huge 2023 which promises lots of new music and their biggest live shows to date.
