SPINN release new single, ‘After Dark’
A break-up staged beneath the streetlights, soundtracked by duelling guitars, SPINN release their latest song ‘After Dark’.
Frontman Jonny describes the song as his most challenging yet, “It was a song I struggled writing the lyrics to, because in comparison to a lot of our stuff its quite heavy and dark. And I’m not a heavy or dark kind of person really.”
“Essentially it’s about seeing some friends of mine relationship slowly break down. I wrote about it in a “he said she said” way because as they say, there’s always two sides to a coin or a story”
Forthcoming EP – produced by Chris McCory of Catholic Action – was brewed on the banks of the Mersey with the very essence of that river’s musical current, and is set for release in March 2018 on Modern Sky UK. Misty eyed and fleet of foot, lead single She Takes Her Time is already online, a shot at romance and a bid for indie-disco stardom, with all the hallmarks of SPINN’s incisive indie pop.
Destined to break hearts from Huyton to Brighton, the shimmering dream-pop of a new SPINN single She Takes Her Time is online today.
