‘MATADOR’ CHARGES BACK INTO THE CHARTS

‘MATADOR’ CHARGES BACK INTO THE CHARTS

The people cannot get enough Red Rum in their system! Five months after the birth of ‘Matador’, the debut album from Red Rum Club has charted once again, hitting No. 12 in the UK Vinyl Charts. Upon the record’s initial release it managed to break into the Top 50 of the UK Album Charts, as well as the Top 10 of the iTunes Charts. It even spent some time at No. 1 in the Alternative Charts.

‘Matador’ itself is given a new lease of life in its wax reincarnation. Popped Music described Red Rum Club’s sound as ‘the love child of James Skelly and Ennio Morricone,’ and the physical format only serves to intensify the spaghetti-Scouse symbiosis. On vinyl a real sense of authenticity is brought to the songs; each rotation traces the knots in the saloon doors, and every grainy scratch captures the bite and barren of a Wild Western landscape.

Less than 40 of the limited edition vinyl remain so order yours before the barrel runs dry for good. You can witness ‘Matador’ in all its glory now as Red Rum Club are in the midst of a UK tour (their second of the year!). Remaining dates are below:
